Winter Recital 2-15-20

Well, this post is a little late going up (I’ve been a bit busy), but it doesn’t make me any less proud of my students, so I wanted to go ahead and put this post up anyway – “better late than never”.

Knoxville Academy of Music (KAM) held their annual Winter Recital on 2-15-2020 at Concord United Methodist Church (CUMC). We are very grateful to CUMC for saving the day with a last minute recital location as our previously booked location had to cancel for circumstances beyond their control.

Recital Day consists of back-to-back recitals throughout the day by all of KAM’s instructors. My recital time was at 10:00 AM (first one of the day). After my recital I switch hats from instructor to stage tech and help out with moving microphones, music stands, chairs and foot stools for the rest of the event. It makes for a long day, but I get to see all of the participating students perform. ALL of the students and instructors did such a fantastic job! I look forward to our next recital!
